• West Stafford FD To Mark 25th Anniversary Of 9/11 Terror Attacks (patch.com) — Stafford residents are invited to gather Friday morning at the West Stafford Fire Department's memorial grounds to mark the 25th anniversary of the 9/11 attacks, with a ceremony beginning at 8:30 a.m. on West Stafford Road. While national observances unfold in New York, Washington, and Pennsylvania, this local event offers a way for the community to honor victims and first responders close to home.
   

• Distressed Hiker Rescued From Trail In Stafford (patch.com) — Emergency crews from West Stafford Fire, Stafford Ambulance, Stafford FD No. 1, Somers paramedics, and state police teamed up to find a lost hiker on a remote trail near Old Springfield and Worthington Road. Using a UTV, responders located the person, who had reported low blood sugar, and safely brought them out of the Stafford woods to return home without complications.
   

• Holiday Weekend Fight At North Central Connecticut Campground Leads To Arrests: State Police (patch.com) — A late-night fight at Roaring Brook Campground in Stafford over the holiday weekend led to four out-of-state visitors being arrested and removed from the property, according to state police. The altercation at the pavilion area resulted in multiple assault and risk-of-injury-to-a-child charges, with all suspects taken to the Troop C barracks for processing.
