UNION, CT — A vehicle was hit twice during a sequence on Interstate 84 last week, state police said.
The incident took place on the morning of Oct. 13, state police said. According to a state police crash report, a 2010 Honda Civic from Massachusetts was stranded on the eastbound side of I-84 near Exit 74 after being involved in a crash.
Along came a Ford F-350 truck registered out of New Jersey, and, while negotiating a curve, came upon the Honda, according to a crash report.
The driver of the truck was not able to avoid the Honda and side-swiped it while swerving, according to a crash report.
Both drivers and two passengers in the Ford escaped injury, a crash report shows.
