Eastern Connecticut State University, Willimantic CT

• Eastern's annual graduation ceremony was held at the XL Center in Hartford on May 15, with more than 12,000 family members and friends cheering on their sons and daughters, brothers and sisters, as 1,105 undergraduates and 85 graduate students received their diplomas. Local graduates were: Meagan Luchon of Stafford Springs, Bachelor of Science in Business Administration; Kayley Crooke of Willington, Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology; Katherine Standish of Willington, Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology; Michael Masinda of Willington, Bachelor of Science in Business Administration; Samantha Dobbyn of Willington, Bachelor of Arts in History; Jacob Hall of Willington, Bachelor of Science in Mathematics; and Kaeley Vera of Willington, Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish and a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education.

Western New England University, Springfield MA

• Western New England University congratulates more than 700 students who received their academic degrees. Fenton Deskus of Willington graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Law and Society. Damon Rummel of Stafford Springs graduated with a Juris Doctor. Miranda Wyse of Stafford Springs graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration/Business Analytics and Information Management.

Wheaton College, Wheaton IL

• Wheaton College student Andrew Park of Willington was named to the spring 2018 Dean's List. Dean's List honors are earned by undergraduate students who carry 12 or more credit hours and achieve a 3.5 grade point average or higher on the 4.0 scale.
