Arrest Made In 2012 Stafford Theft Case

State police have made an arrest in a nearly seven-year-old Stafford theft case.

STAFFORD, CT — State police have made an arrest in a nearly seven-year-old burglary and larceny case out of Stafford.

On April 24, East Windsor police contacted the state police Troop C barracks to say they located 39-year-old Michael Chartier, whose listed address is in Springfield, MA, according to a report. Chartier, 39, had an active arrest warrant for a 2012 theft case on Ramio Road in Stafford, according to a report.

The victim in the case is listed as a 28-year-old woman.

Chartier was booked on a $75,000 bond and charged with burglary and larceny, both in the third-degree, according toa report. The bond was reduced to a promise to appear at his arraignment the next day and Chartier is due back in court on Jne 4, judicial system records show.
