Business Thefts In Willington Lead To Arrest Of Custodian: Warrant

Business owners are accusing a custodian of ripping them off to the tune of several thousands of dollars.

WILLINGTON, CT — A 60-year-old Lebanon man has been charged with third-degree larceny for an inside theft at a Willington business, state police said.

Ryan Nissan was arrested via a warrant last week, state police said.

The thefts were reported on July 4 and the business owners had been investigating the thefts themselves since March, according to a warrant.

Nissan is accused in a warrant of stealing "several thousands" of dollars by going through drawers where cash was kept during his custodial shift. Nissan worked at the business through a third-party cleaning service, according to a warrant.

He is due in court on Sept. 21.
