Asnuntuck Community College, Enfield CT

  • Asnuntuck Community College has announced that a number of full and part-time students from Stafford have achieved Dean’s List status following their spring semester of studies. They are Veronica Allevo, Beth Bolieau, Kasey Carter, Johanna Connors, Rebekah Delisle, Carrie Gates, Chon Leng Lo, Chue Feng Lo, Taneng Lo, Samantha Meador, Michelle Messeck, Alyssa Murray, Heidi Pokorny, Haylie Prucker, Larraine Rubacha, Michael Satkowski, Dagny Villar and Peter Wilson. Full-time students who are matriculated in a certificate or degree program and who have successfully completed 12 or more credits of work in a semester with a grade point average of 3.4 or above are named to the list. Part-time students who are matriculated in a certificate or degree program are also eligible for such recognition when they have completed 12 or more credits of work with a grade point average of 3.4.

  • Becker College's Commencement ceremony was held on May 5, 2018. Lt. Gov. Karyn Polito delivered the keynote address. Ashtin Schaefer, of Willington, graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing.

Roger Williams University, Bristol RI

  • Select students have been named to the spring 2018 Dean's List at Roger Williams University in Bristol, R.I. Full-time students who complete 12 or more credits per semester and earn a GPA of 3.4 or higher are placed on the Dean's List that semester. Honorees from Willington are Danielle Lavoie and Marissa Peloso.
