Car Crashes Into Trees On Route 30 In Stafford

A car crashed into a wooded area off Route 30 In Stafford Thursday.

STAFFORD, CT — A car wound up in a copse of trees on Route 30 in Stafford Thursday afternoon.

The crash took place at about 2:30 p.m. on Route 30 near the Route 190 interchange.

A car appeared to be balancing precariously on a 45-degree angle at the edge of a ditch in a wooded area just off the northbound shoulder.

Emergency crews began arriving at the scene at about 2:35 p.m.

The road is a busy thoroughfare at any time during the day, but especially when school is being dismissed, since West Stafford School is nearby.
