STAFFORD, CT — A 48-year-old man has been charged by state police for a dinner plate-throwing incident at a Stafford property.

The incident took place at Feb. 22, state police said.

According to an. arrest report, the 7-year-old child was hit ion the head after the plate was thrown and was taken to Johnson Memorial Hospital for treatment and the hospital informed state police of the incident.

The culprit was eventually charged with risk of injury to a child, third-degree assault and disorderly conduct.
