STAFFORD-WILLINGTON, CT — Here are some recent notable accomplishments by local college students, as provided by readMedia Newswire.
Manchester Community College, Manchester CT
- Jessy Keller Greenwald and Cassandra Rogers, both of Stafford, and Aimee Hyatt and William Luchon, both of Willington, were named to the fall 2018 full-time President's List at MCC. Stafford residents Kaylee Donor, Ryan Giannelli, Stacey Hery, Jessica Regele and Erin Snyder all made the part-time President's List. This recognizes the exceptional scholarship of full- and part-time students who earn a 4.0 or “A” grade point average in their courses. Full-time students who have completed at least 12 credits for the semester with no withdrawals or incomplete grades in the semester are eligible for this honor. Part-time students who have earned a 4.0 GPA with no withdrawals or incompletes in the semester - and have accumulated 12 credits at MCC - are eligible for the Part-Time President’s List.
- Dean's List honorees for the fall 2018 semester include Melissa Briggs, Amy Finneran, Joseph Fonicello, Karmen Jensen and Darren Ridley, all of Stafford, as well as Willington residents Maciej Chajdecki, Joseph Fluet and Jackson Wasielewski. Full-time students enrolled in 12 credits or more and who have earned a GPA of 3.4 with no withdrawals or incomplete grades in that semester are eligible for the Dean’s List. Part-time students are eligible for recognition with the same criteria when they have completed 12 or more credits of work with a cumulative GPA of 3.4 or higher.

- Western New England University congratulates over 400 students, including two from Stafford, named to the fall 2018 President's List. Students are named to the President's List for achieving a semester grade point average of 3.80 or higher. Honorees from Stafford are Adrianna Barnett, majoring in Management & Leadership, and Katelyn Henderson, majoring in Business.
