STAFFORD-WILLINGTON, CT — Here are some recent notable accomplishments by local college students, as provided by readMedia Newswire.

Nichols College, Dudley MA

• Zachary Johnson of Stafford Springs is a member of the Nichols College men's track and field team, which competed recently at the 2019 NCAA Division III New England Championship at Williams College. The 4 x 400m relay team of Judeson Orvil, Kevin Radavich, Johnson and Samuel Paiva finished 21st (3:35.83).

Western New England University, Springfield MA

• Katelyn F. Henderson of Stafford Springs was inducted into Beta Gamma Sigma, the honor society of AACSB-accredited business schools, at a ceremony conducted by the Western New England Chapter officers. The banquet, held April 18, 2019, at the Log Cabin in Holyoke, was attended by over 100 students, guests, College of Business faculty and staff. Henderson is majoring in Exploratory/Business.
