• Ten up-and-coming psychology students at Eastern Connecticut State University were selected to participate in a Summer Research Institute (SRI) from May 20-24. Among the participants was Bethany Turner of Stafford Springs, who majors in Psychology. Turner's project was titled "Education, Microaggression, & Aversive Racism."

• 437 students have been named to the Plymouth State University Dean's List for the spring 2019 semester, including Andrew Wasilefsky of Willington, a Business Administration major. To be named to the Dean's List, a student must achieve a grade point average between 3.5 and 3.69 during the spring semester and must have attempted at least 12 credit hours during the semester.
