  • A total of 16 students from Stafford were named to the UConn dean's list for the fall 2018 semester. They are Zachary Briggs, Luke Broadhurst, Jacob Conklin, Cait Eaton, Kaitlyn Ferrara, Matt Frank, Tyler Gebo, Val Girard, Taylor Glaeser-Charter, Ethan Lawlor, Thomas Lemay, Sarah Provencher, Wyatt Sartain, Cori Sylvain, Keighlee Szafir and Kyle Wytas.

Worcester Polytechnic Institute, Worcester MA

  • Dylan Snay of Stafford Springs, a member of the class of 2020 majoring in electrical and computer engineering at Worcester Polytechnic Institute (WPI), was a member of a student team that recently completed an intense, hands-on research project through the WPI project center in Worcester, England. The project was titled Skills for Tomorrow: Hereford Student Conference. In their project summary, the students wrote, "This project sought to modify a version of the conference for Hereford students."
