Comedy Fundraiser to Benefit Stafford Bark Park

Members of the committee looking to establish a dog park in Stafford have planned another entertaining fundraising event.

STAFFORD, CT — While searching for a site to open a dog park, members of the Bark Park of Stafford Spring committee are continuing fundraising efforts to support construction and maintenance of a facility. The next endeavor will be a Comedy Night filled with entertainment.

Franco's Comedy For Your Cause presents an evening of comedy on Friday, Nov. 22. Headlining the show will be Rodney Norman, best known for his appearances at the Boston Comedy Festival. Also performing will be Mel V, a finalist in the Funniest Person In Massachusetts competition, and Daniel Kalwhite, who has appeared on NPR.

The show will be at the Italian Benefit Society at 12 Club Road, beginning at 8 p.m. Patrons may bring their own snacks, and a cash bar will be available. Tickets are $20, and are available by contacting Wendy at 860-983-8293.
