STAFFORD, CT — A multi-vehicle crash took place at Stafford Motor Speedway and it wasn't on the track, state police said.

According to a crash report, the incident took place on May 8.

At 8:50 p.m., state police arrived at the scene and encountered a Red Toyota Tundra pickup and a blue Ford pickup that had collided at the entrance to the speedway, according to a crash report.

The driver of the Tundra, a 62-year-old Ellington man, was subsequently arrested and charged with driving under the influence and a lane violation, records show.
