Driver In Expensive Car Gets Expensive Charge After 108 MPH Stop In Willington
A driver was charged following a high-speed incident on I-84, state police said.
WILLINGTON, CT — A 54-year-old New Hampshire man was charged with reckless driving for a 100-plus mph incident on Interstate 84 in Willington, state police said.
According to an arrest report, at 12:50 p.m. on Aug. 17, a trooper on a speed enforcement detail was positioned near Exit 70 and clocked a Mercedes-Benz sedan traveling at 108 mph.
The trooper caught up the the car, pulled it over and the man was charged, according to an arrest report.
