Gordon: Former School Building Transformation Project In Stafford Getting Added Boost From State
State aid has been approved for a former school project in Stafford.

STAFFORD, CT — On Tuesday, $1.3 million in state aid was approved for environmental cleanup and abatement at the Witt School property in Stafford, state Sen. Jeff Gordon said.
The site is being prepared for future redevelopment and community use.
"This investment is an important step toward the future redevelopment of the Witt School property," Gordon said. "Environmental cleanup is often the first and most critical phase of revitalization projects, and this funding will help move the project forward while positioning the site for new opportunities that benefit Stafford residents."
