Johnson Memorial Hospital Altercation Leads To Threatening Charge
A man "committed" to JMH by police caused a disturbance, a warrant states.

STAFFORD, CT — A man who was a patient at Johnson Memorial Hospital in the fall is facing a second-degree threatening charge after an altercation, state police said.
The man was served an arrest warrant Sunday.
The case dates back to November, when state police were called to Johnson Memorial Hospital for a disturbance.

Police encountered the man when they went to the hospital and he was acting unruly, according to a warrant. With an Taser drawn, officers ordered him to lay on the floor and then escorted back to his room, according to a warrant. He had been committed to JMH by the East Windsor Police Department, according to a warrant.
Hospital staff members said the man had threatened to kill them. A search of his bag did not uncover any weapons, according to a warrant. He also made sexual gestures to staffers, according to a warrant. He also flexed his muscles while bragging about his "gangster past," according to a warrant.
