STAFFORD, CT — State police have charged a Stafford man with second-degree breach of peace after he emerged from dumpsters naked at both Staffordville Elementary School and Stafford High School, a warrant states.

Both instances were after school hours, according to a warrant. Bruce Laughlon, 29, is due in court on Nov. 18 to answer the charge, judicial system records indicate.

The case unraveled just after 6 p.m. on Sept. 18, when a custodian at Staffordville School was making the rounds on the school grounds, state police said. He heard rustling sounds coming from a dumpster and then saw a man emerge from it "with no clothes on," according to a warrant. The man then tried to hide from the custodin around the dumpster before leaving the scene in a white pickup truck with a rusted front end, according to a warrant.
