STAFFORD, CT — A motorcycle rider was seriously hurt in a crash in Stafford, state police said.

According to a crash report, a Harley-Davidson FXBB motorcycle being ridden by a 25-year-old Hampden. MA, man was heading east on Chestnut Hill Road in Stafford at 5:21 p.m. on May 16.

The bike then crashed while trying to avoid another vehicle that had suddenly stopped, according to a crash report.
