Possible Drowning Reported In Stafford
A victim was pulled from the water and transported to a hospital, fire officials said.

STAFFORD, CT — Emergency personnel have responded to a report of a possible drowning in the western end of Stafford.
According to police, the Tolland County dive team was called to "a very active scene" Saturday afternoon at 119 Diamond Ledge Road at 2:29 p.m. Fire personnel, an ambulance and paramedic also responded.
First responders confirmed a victim had gone under water, witnessed by bystanders. Several members began surface diving in an attempt to locate the victim, but without success., fire officials said.

Upon arrival of the first dive team diver, he donned his gear and entered the water. The diver located the victim quickly, who was removed from the water, fire officials said.
The victim was transported to nearby Johnson Memorial Medical Center; his condition is unknown, according to fire officials.
