STAFFORD, CT — A car and a scooter had a close encounter in Stafford last week, state police said.

State police recently released a report on the incident.

According to a crash report, at 2:49 p.m. on June 10, a 27-year-old Stafford man was riding an electric scooter on the shoulder of Route 190, heading east. A 41-year-old Stafford woman was also traveling east on Route 190 in a 2025 Hyundai Santa Fe, according to a crash report.

The driver of the Hyundai then began turning left into a business and the two collided, according to a crash report.

No one was hurt.
