STAFFORD, CT — A heavy police presence was on Boyer Road in Stafford Wednesday afternoon.

According to state police, the Eastern District Major Crime Squad assisted the Stafford Resident Trooper's Office with service of a search warrant on Boyer Road.

State police, citing "an active and ongoing investigation," did not release details of the search.
