Stafford Coach Named Among Most Outstanding of the Year

STAFFORD, CT — A Stafford coach will be recognized with more than two dozen other honorees as Outstanding Coaches of the Year by the Connecticut High School Coaches Association.

Damian Frassinelli of Stafford High School has been selected as unified sports Outstanding Coach. He and the other honored coaches, together with an Athletic Director of the Year and three special award winners, will be celebrated at the 54th annual Recognition Dinner on May 10 at 7 p.m. in Kay’s Pier at the Aqua Turf in Southington.

The Athletic Director of the Year is Joseph Madaffari of Brien McMahon High School; Scott Aresco will receive the Thomas Monahan CHSCA Honor Award; Bill O’Brien will be awarded the Joseph J. Fontana Distinguished Service Award; and Gina Simeone of Nfinity will receive the Joseph Calvanese Sponsorship Award.
