Stafford Cumby's Makes Merry On Holiday-Themed Lottery Ticket
A festive CT Lottery ticket turned out to be quite festive in Stafford.

STAFFORD, CT — A CT Lottery ticket with a holiday theme sold in Stafford turned out to be quite the gift for a local player.
On Tuesday, Tanya Cheney, of Stafford, cashed in a ticket worth $10,000 in the Merry Money Multiplier game, according to lottery officials. That's the top prize in the $2 scratch game.
The ticket was purchased at the Cumberland Farms at 116 West Main St. in Stafford.

The Merry Money Multiplier game began on Thanksgiving Day. A total of 1,244,000 tickets were printed and the overall odds of winning some sort of prize is 1 in 3.48, according to CT Lottery officials.
