Donald J. Simons, 86, of Stafford Springs, passed away on Wednesday, April 11, 2018.
He was born in Stafford Springs, son of the late Joseph and Mary (Kafka) Simons. Donald served our country in the United States Navy during the Korean Conflict.
He is survived by his sister, Anna Putney of Stafford Springs, and several other family members, including step children, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, and nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his son, Donald Simons, Jr., brother, Joseph Simons, and sister, Julie Sellers.

His funeral service will be held on Wednesday, April 18, 2018 at 1 P.M. in the Chapel at Evergreen Health Care Center, 205 Chestnut Hill Rd., Stafford Springs. Burial will take place privately at St. Edward Cemetery, Stafford Springs.
