
Edward E. Hunt, 65, of Somers, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, March 15, 2018.
He was born in Manchester, son of Ellis B. and Jean E. (Butler) Hunt of Stafford Springs. Ed served in the United States Army and retired as an electrician from Electric Boat. Ed really enjoyed his truck, but his greatest joy in life was his family, and the time he was able to spend with them.
Besides his parents, Ed is survived by his two daughters, Rebecca Normandin of Ellington, and Christine Hunt of Stafford Springs; five grandchildren, Harlie, Chantel, Devin, Alyra, and Giana; four siblings, Linda Carroll and her partner Bill Alpi, Laurie Skoglund and her husband Steve, Brenda Willis and her husband Dan, and Gary Hunt and his wife Tanya; and several nieces and nephews.

A calling hour will be held on Wednesday, March 21, 2018 from 1-2 P.M. with a memorial service to take place at 2 P.M. at Introvigne Funeral Home, Inc., 51 East Main St., Stafford Springs. Burial will follow in Stafford Springs Cemetery, Stafford Springs.
Memorial donations may be made to the American Diabetes Association, 1701 North Beauregard St., Alexandria, VA 22311.
