
Linda R. Argenta, 91, of Stafford Springs, wife of the late Ronald W. Argenta, passed away on Sunday, June 10, 2018 surrounded by her family.
She was born in Stafford Springs, daughter of the late John and Anna (Canestrari) Rui. Linda was a member of St. Edward Parish, the Italian Benefit Society Ladies Auxiliary, where she helped her sister cook the “Club Meal” for many years, the Stafford Senior Center, was an avid fan of UConn women's Basketball, and a dedicated New York Yankees baseball fan. Linda traveled the world with her husband for his company.
She is survived by her daughter, Leigh Ann Kowalyshyn and her husband Scott of Stafford Springs; two grandchildren, Ryan Argenta of Salt Lake City, UT and Luke Kowalyshyn of Stafford Springs; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Linda was pre-deceased by her son, Craig J. Argenta; grandson, Brady S. Kowalyshyn; and sister, Irene Goodell.

As per Linda’s wish, there will be no calling hours. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, June 14, 2018 at 11 A.M. at St. Edward Church, 55 High St., Stafford Springs. Burial will follow in St. Edward Cemetery, Stafford Springs.
