STAFFORD, CT — Stafford High School brought home its first state boys basketball championship after the Bulldogs beat Hartford Public, 64-59, Sunday in the Connecticut Interscholastic Athletic Conference Division V boys basketball final.
Stafford entered the fourth quarter with a narrow lead and held on for the title.
Colin Tozier led the Bulldogs with a game-high 31 points.
