Stafford Wins First Boys Hoop State Title With 64-59 Victory Over Hartford Public In Division V Final

STAFFORD, CT — Stafford High School brought home its first state boys basketball championship after the Bulldogs beat Hartford Public, 64-59, Sunday in the Connecticut Interscholastic Athletic Conference Division V boys basketball final.

Stafford entered the fourth quarter with a narrow lead and held on for the title.

Colin Tozier led the Bulldogs with a game-high 31 points.

With the win, Stafford secured the program's first state title, giving the Bulldogs a historic finish to their season.
