Stafford Woman Charged With Biting JMH Staff Member
A Stafford woman went off at Johnson Hospital, state police said.

STAFFORD, CT — A 63-year-old Stafford resident is accused of biting a staff member at Johnson Memorial hospital, police said.
The incident involving Lorayne Doubleday took place at 6:18 p.m. on Sunday, state police said.
She was a patient at the time and became violent toward staff members, state police said. He bit a 25-year-old female staff member on the arm and inflicted a minor wound, a report indicates.

Because she needed "further treatment," state police issued Doubleday a misdemeanor summons for assault and she remained at the hospital, according to a report.
