State Board Disciplines Local Nurse
The state Board of Examiners for Nursing has disciplined a local nurse.
STAFFORD/ROCKY HILL, CT ― The state Board of Examiners for Nursing has disciplined a nurse from Stafford who worked at a Rocky Hill facility, according to a report by the Connecticut Health I-Team.
The board on Wednesday placed the RN license of Nancy Laporta, of Stafford, on probation for three months.
In 2017, while working as a nurse at Apple Rehab in Rocky Hill, Laporta did not obtain a doctor’s order needed to admit a patient to the facility, according to the I-Team report.
