State Cops Looking For Owner Of Bashed-Up BMW Found In Stafford

State police said they are looking for the owner of a bashed-up BMW found in Stafford.

STAFFORD, CT — State police said they are looking for the owner of a bashed-up Beemer left for dead on a remote Stafford road late last month.

The dark gray BMW 330xi was located abandoned at 8:52 a.m. on May 27 along Crooked S Road, roughly sixth-tenths of a mile from state Route 190, state police said in a report. It had "heavy damage" and the airbags had deployed, according to a report.

A crash appeared to have occurred overnight, state police.

It was not registered to anyone, and there were no traces of ownership or insurance policies, according to a report.
