State Police Dog Apollo Nabs Suspicious Man With Bag In Stafford
A burglar was caught in Stafford by a state police dog.

STAFFORD, CT — A state police canine tracked down a burglar in Stafford.
At 47 minutes after midnight on April 13, troopers were dispatched to the area of 166 Monson Road in Stafford after getting a call about a suspicious man carrying a bag and jumping into the wood line when vehicles would pass.
When a trooper arrived at the scene, he saw the man crouching behind a vehicle, but the man quickly fled, according to an incident report.

Police dog Apollo was called in to assist and conducted a track to a nearby residence, where the male was located and taken into custody, according to an incident report.
A bag of property, confirmed to be stolen by a nearby homeowner, was located where the man was seen hiding, according to an incident report. A local homeowner also complained that the man had broken into the home, state police said
