Stolen Dirt Bike Pursuit Runs Through Willington, Ends In Tolland
A stolen dirt bike was recovered after a pursuit in Willington and Tolland, state police said.

TOLLAND, CT — A police pursuit involving a stolen motorcycle ended in Tolland last week, state police said.
The incident took place at 4:46 p.m. Tuesday. State police were alerted to a dirt bike stolen from the Dollar General property in Ashford and picked up its trail on Moose Meadow Road in Willington, according to an arrest report.
The driver, identified as 22-year-old Bloomfield resident Ernest Davis, refused to stop for state police but was eventually corralled in Tolland. At one point, Davis was traveling the wrong way, according to an arrest report.

He was taken to the Troop C barracks in Tolland and charged with driving an unregistered motor vehicle, driving while under suspension, reckless driving, engaging police in a pursuit, driving the wrong way on a divided highway, making an improper exit on a limited access highway, failure to obey a stop sign, third-degree larceny, first-degree forgery, interfering with police and second-degree reckless endangerment.
Davis posted a $25,000 bond and had a court date of Jan. 31, police records show.
