A state police report indicates a student on a drug trip triggered a melee on a school bus taking children home from Windham Tech.

WILLINGTON, CT — A state police report indicates a student on a drug trip triggered a melee on a school bus taking children home from Windham Technical High School School late last month.
The bus pulled over on the northbound side of River Road in Willington at 2:39 p.m., after a physcial altrercation had broken out, state police said in a report.
According to a report, a "15-year-old male student" had consumed "an unknown illicit substance" and began "hallucinating."

The boy then struck several other students on the bus before being restrained by "older students," according to a report.
A medical crew and state police arrived at the scene and treated those involved.

The boy who had taken the drug was transported to Johnson Memorial Hospital, treated and then issued a juvenule summons, according to a report.
