Suspected Drunken Driver Clocked At 106 MPH On I-84: Report
A 20-year-old from Massachusetts was charged after being clocked at better than 100 mph on a stretch of highway.

WILLINGTON, CT — A 20-year-old from Massachusetts was charged with reckless driving and driving under the influence after being clocked at better than 100 mph on a stretch of Interstate-84 early Friday morning, state police said.
The incident was at 1:01 a.m. near Exit 72 on the westbound side of the highway, state police said.
A trooper saw a vehicle speed past him and then caught up to it as it was approaching the Tolland line, according to a report. The vehicle crossed lane markers several times while maintaining a speed of 106 mph with the trooper following it, according to a report.

He was eventually able to pull the car over, according to a report.
The driver was identified as Joanne Elise Marcano, 20, of Southbridge, MA.

She is due in court on Dec. 18, records show.
