Too Slow, Too Fast Maneuvers Lead To DUI Arrests In Stafford

State police made a pair of DUI arrests on Route 190 in Stafford over the weekend.

STAFFORD, CT — State police made two weekend drunken driving arrests on Route 190 in Stafford — one involving a driver going too fast and another for a driver not going at all.

At 10:38 p.m. on Friday, state police pulled over a car driven by 28-year-old Joshua Zamora after Zamora passed another vehicle in a no-passing zone on Route 190, just east of the Route 19 intersection, state police said. According to a report, a trooper smelled alcohol on Zamora's breath and noticed his eyes were "glossy and bloodshot," according to a report.

Zamora, of Conroe, TX, subsequently falied a series of field sobriety tests and was charged with driving under the influence and a passing zone violation, according to a report.
