Train Strikes, Kills Pedestrian In Stafford Springs
The tragedy resulted in road closures in the area of the Stafford Motor Speedway.

STAFFORD, CT - An unidentified pedestrian was struck and killed by a train near downtown Stafford Springs early Friday evening, according to state police.
The incident caused closure of a segment of Route 140 near Stafford Motor Speedway shortly before 8 p.m., police said.
