Troopers Take $50K Worth of Cocaine off the Street in I-84 Bust
A traffic stop in Willington led to state police confiscating cocaine.
WILLINGTON, CT — State police took about $50,000 worth of cocaine off the streets on Thursday after a bust on Interstate-84, an arrest report indicates.
The stash was seized after erratic driving alerted a trooper positioned on I-84 eastbound in Willington, according to an arrest report.
The car was pulled over and troopers located about 1,680 grams (1.68 kilograms) of suspected cocaine with an estimated street value of $50,000 inside, according to an arrest report.

Two Lawrence, MA residents — Melvin Santos, 35, and 43-year-old Pascual Colon, were charged with narcotics possession, according to an arrest report. The were held on half-million-dollar bonds and were to appear on Rockville Superior Court on Friday, according to an arrest report.
