Warrant Outlines Horrific Assault In Stafford
A Wolcott man is a defendant in two cases related to assaults in Stafford, a warrant says.

TOLLAND, CT — A veteran state trooper described facial injuries sustained in a Stafford assault case as some of the worst he has seen in a 16-plus year career.
Kit Tristam Marlow, 40, of Wolcott, was arrested in Massachusetts last week, brought to Connecticut and charged with intentional cruelty to persons, first-degree unlawful restraint, second-degree assault, interfering with an emergency call and disorderly conduct for a incident last fall, according to a warrant.
Marlow is accused of several assaults, but one left an acquaintance with severe facial injuries, according to a warrant.

Marlow was initially held on a $500,000 bond, which was reduced to $150,000 during an April 13 appearance in Rockville Superior Court.
Marlow was also arrested on March 24 for an incident in Stafford and charged with third-degree assault and disorderly conduct. That incident stemmed the investigation into Marlow's actions last fall, according to a warrant.
