Willington FedEx Hub Employee Accused Of Pilfering Packages

WILLINGTON, CT — An employee is accused of stealing items from packages at the FedEx hub in Willington, state police said.

Babwe Dixon, 39, of Manchester is due in Rockville Superior Court on Jan. 26, records show. He was arrested on a second-degree larceny charge on Jan. 14, state police said.

According to an arrest report, officials at the FedEx hub on. Ruby Road told state police that 16 iPhones and and one set of Apple Airpods had ben taken from packages and an employee had admitted to the theft.

Dixon then returned the stolen items, according to an arrest report.
