Willington Snowmobile Crash Leads To Serious Injuries: Report

A Tolland man was airlifted to Hartford Hospital afdter a snowmobile accident in Willington on Monday.

WILLINGTON, CT — A Tolland man was airlifted to Hartford Hospital afdter a snowmobile accident on Monday, state police said.

A report on the accident was made available on Monday.

It took place at 8:05 p.m. at 210 Jared Sparks Road in Willington, according to a report. The driver was identified in a state police report as William Smith Brooker, 53, of Tolland.

He was traveling in a southerly direction on the property and drove "straight into a meal wire fence," according to a report.

His injuries were described in a report as serious and Life Star helicopter was called to the scene.

State police are asking anyone with any "additional information" on the accident is being asked to call the Troop C barracks at 860-896-3200.
