Willington Woman Gets Prison Time After 3rd DUI Conviction

VERNON, CT — Craig P. Nowak, State’s Attorney for the Tolland Judicial District announced Tuesday that Judge Tejas Bhatt on Aug. 18 sentenced Melissa Page, age 45, of Willington, to serve three years in prison, suspended after 16 months served, followed by three years of probation for her third conviction for Driving Under the Influence.

A Superior Court jury in Rockville on May 21, 2026 found Page guilty of DUI.

According to evidence introduced at trial, the defendant was involved in a one-car motor vehicle crash on Dec. 28, 2024, on Lakeview Drive in Coventry, where she crashed into an occupied residence.

The defendant's two prior convictions for Drunken driving were both entered on Sept. 20, 2017.

Assistant State’s Attorney Sarah E. Jones of the Office of the Chief State’s Attorney prosecuted the case, with assistance from Inspector Stephen Burstein.
