$1 Million Powerball Ticket Sold in Stamford Unclaimed
Someone lost out on a lot of money, but the state wins in the end.

Stamford, CT- The state always wins a portion of lottery ticket proceeds, but this time it hit it big after a $1 million Powerball ticket went unclaimed.

The ticket was sold in the Jan. 9 drawing at the Super Stop and Shop on West Main Street, according to the Connecticut Lottery.

The ticket expired July 7. Winning numbers drawn on January 9 were: 16 - 19 - 32 - 34 - 57 and Powerball number 13.
