$100K Scratch-Off Ticket Sold In Stamford: CT Lottery

A resident recently won the grand prize after playing a Connecticut Lottery scratch-off game.

STAMFORD, CT — One lucky person won the grand prize of $100,000 after playing a Connecticut Lottery scratch-off game which was purchased in Stamford.

According to the CT Lottery, Erica Sutuj Cifuentes, of Calhoun, Ga., won the big prize after playing the $100,000 Cashword 12 game.

The ticket cost just $10, and was purchased at Track News & Variety, 30 Station Place, in Stamford.

There are over 5 million tickets of the game in existence, the CT Lottery website says. Of that number, only 20 are grand prize winners.
