
Rabbi Mark S. Golub,
President of Shalom TV, recipient of the 2013 Heritage Award for the creation
of a National Jewish TV Network and considered one of America’s most
influential rabbis, will be honored on Sunday, June 9, 2013 as part of the Jewish
Historical Society of Fairfield County’s Special June Program with remarks by
David Harris, Executive Director of the American Jewish Committee.
The program will be held at Temple Beth El, 350
Roxbury Road, Stamford, Connecticut 06902, starting at 4:00 PM with reception
before the program. Admission is $36 per person and it is open to the public. A

Eli Weisel described Rabbi Golub as “a committed
and passionate television professional who has enhanced Jewish understanding in
the general Jewish community through programming he has created for nearly 30
years,” adding, “There may be no one more suited to head the first national
Jewish channel in America than Mark Golub.”
