450 Backpacks Donated To Stamford Students Before New School Year
Optimum and Warner Bros. Discovery hosted a back-to-school backpack program last week.
STAMFORD, CT — Optimum and Warner Bros. Discovery hosted a back-to-school backpack program last week at the Boys & Girls Club of Stamford to support local communities and help prepare students for the upcoming school year.
Mayor Caroline Simmons and state Rep. Tina Courpas (R-149) attended the program, which distributed 450 backpacks to Stamford residents.
The event featured free backpacks filled with school supplies, along with activities, music and refreshments.

Optimum also contributed $4,000 to the Boys & Girls Club of Stamford to support STEM programming and after-school initiatives that provide academic enrichment and resources for local children.
Since 2021 and with the recent donation, Optimum says it has contributed more than $26,000 to the Boys & Girls Club of Stamford.
