STAMFORD, CT — A Stamford resident recently hit it big thanks to some luck and the Connecticut Lottery.

The resident won $50,000 after playing the Lucky Loot scratch-off game, which was purchased from Glenbrook News & Variety, located at 332 Hope St. in Stamford.

According to the CT Lottery, the ticket costs $20, and there is a grand prize of a $1 million annuity.
