
Corporal Vincent Horan was killed by a Japanese bomb fragment at Wheeler Field.
He was a member of the 78th Pursuit Squadron of the U.S. Army Air Corps where he was an aviation mechanic. He joined the military on 27 July 1939. Vincent's parents were Timothy and Elizabeth Horan and siblings were Catherine, Audrey, Francis, Richard and Robert Horan. Vincent Horan Park is located at Washington Blvd & Bridge Street in Stamford, CT. Stamford, CT Memorial: Vincent's name can also be found on the Pearl Harbor Memorial Bridge in Waterbury, CT.
