A Rich Donation — F.D. Rich Co., Rich Family Foundation Make Pledge for Mill River Park
The F. D. Rich Company and Rich Family Foundation announced Thursday that it has pledged $200,000 to the Mill River Collaborative's 'Dreams Taking Root: Capital Campaign for Stamford’s Mill River Park.'
In a statement published in Norwalk.Plus, Thomas Rich, company president, said, “It is truly an honor and a privilege to be even a small part of another Stamford miracle that was initiated and brought to life by both our former Mayor and now Governor, Dan Malloy and the indefatigable Arty Selkowitz."
Rich added, “Thankfully, our current mayor, David Martin, is also carrying on that vision as is evidenced by his recent announcement of the City’s decision to make the long vacant former Archstone Development site a part of the park."
The Rich Pantry will be located inside the Brownstein/Selkowitz Carousel and Event Pavilion planned for a portion of the northwest corner of the park near Schuyler Avenue and Broad Street.
