After Selling Home, Stamford Official Resigns Position: Report
The local official said he had hoped to find a new place to reside within the district but that proved unsuccessful.

STAMFORD, CT — Charles Florio, a GOP member of the Board of Representatives, announced his resignation after selling his home and unsuccessfully finding a new place to reside within his district, which is District 18, the Stamford Advocate reported.
He had served since 2019, and he had hoped to continue, the Advocated reported. His term was set to expire in 2025.
